Skin Care Skin Treatment For Teens

Normal Skin
Use a gentle cleanser, such as a chamomile infusion daily. A cleansing or nourishing clay, fruit or oat mask can be applied once every two weeks to eliminate dead cells and promote regeneration, but be careful with the strongest fruit masks (those containing citrus juices, papaya, strawberry or tomato). In summer or after wind exposure, use herbal ice cubes.
Essential oils: chamomile, cornflower, lavender
Hydrolats: orange blossom, rosemary, rosewater

Dry Skin
Use daily a gentle cleanser, such as almond milk. Avoid steaming, but compresses or herbal ice cubes can be used at any time. Alternate hydrating blackcurrant and nourishing banana fruit masks, using one once or twice a week. An oat and lemon juice mask can be used once every two weeks to remove dead cells. The yoghurt and carrot juice mask is also an excellent way to nourish the skin and maintain a good pH. Experiment with the clay and cucumber recipe, adding 2 tablespoons of olive or sweet almond oil. Massage face and neck once a day with a suitable oil mix.
Essential oils: chamomile, geranium, lavender, niaouli, palmarosa, rosemary, rose otto, rosewood
Carrier oils: olive, sweet almond
Hydrolats: orange blossom, rosemary, rosewater

Oily Skin
Use daily a simple cleansing lotion, such as rosewater and lemon juice or a chamomile infusion. That and steaming once a week may be all that is need to prevent clogged pores, inflammation and fatty deposits under the skin. Once every one or two weeks apply a clay mask made with cucumber juice or a chamomile infusion and no more than once a month try a clay mask, using orange or grapefruit juice, or a fruit mask containing raspberry or tomato. Cosmetic vinegar is also helpful. Massage face and neck once a day with a suitable oil mix.
Essential oils: cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, juniper, lavender, lemon, mandarin, patcouli, rosewood
Carrier oils: calendula, hazelnut, hypericum, jojoba, olive, sweet almond
Hydrolats: chamomile, lavender, orange blossom, rosemary, rosewater

Combination Skin
Steam once weekly to check oily areas, but use daily a gently cleanser, such as almond milk or a chamomile infusion. Once every one or two weeks apply a clay mask made with cucumber juice or chamomile infusion, and once a month a clay mask, using orange or grapefruit juice, or a raspberry or tomato fruit mask. Massage face and neck once a day with a suitable oil mix.
Essential oils: cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, lavender, lemon, mandarian, neroli, patchouli, rosewood, tea tree
Carrier oils: calendula, hazelnut, gypericum, jojoba, olive, sweet almond
Hydrolats: chamomile, lavender, orange blossom, rosewater

Sensitive Skin
Use a chamomile infusion daily as face wash, followed by the traditional almond milk or honey and cucumber cleansing milk. Make an oil mix, using olive oil as the carrier with a blender of lavender, rosewood and tea tree, and massage the face and neck once a day. Be careful with any treatment that may be too harsh for a sensitive skin, such as masks containing strawberry, tomato or papaya, but once every two weeks use an infusion of chamomile for the witchhazel. Use cosmetic vinegar when washing your face or in the bath.
