Skin Care Products: Honey and cucumber cleansing milk
This simple receipt cleans the skin while reducing inflammation. The milk contains lactic acid, an excellent natural cleanser with a revitalizing, balancing effect on the pH of the skin. The honey is rich in nourishing trace elements, and the cucumber juice hydrates and reduces inflammation.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 small cucumber
2 tablespoons organic honey
1 tablespoon fresh full cream milk
still bottled water or chamomile infusion
METHOD
Peel and deseed the cucumber. Puree the flesh, using a food processor or blender, and extract 2 tablespoons of juice by sieving through a piece of muslin. Stir the honey into juice. Once they are well mixed, add the milk and stir again.
Apply the lotion evenly to the face and neck, using cotton wool balls. Leave approx. 20 minutes before rinsing off with still bottled water or a chamomile infusion and cotton wool balls. Pat dry.
